My name is Leah O'Rourke and I am a 23 year old Makeup Artist from Boston, MA. I had a creative side at a young age when I started painting with oils and watercolor, but my first job at 14 years old working at a local makeup studio sparked my interest in a new medium, makeup. 

It was when I had the opportunity to do makeup for a wedding at 15 years old that I wanted to pursue my passion as a career. At 16, I immediately enrolled in esthetician school and became a licensed esthetician in November, 2018

I have experience working in studios and salons and while I am forever grateful for those opportunities, I excel in my creativity as a freelance artist. I am constantly inspired by so many makeup artists in the industry and value every bit of advice I receive as I continue to grow in my career. I feel an excitement everyday while working with amazing clients to emulate a vision and enhance the natural beauty of each face, as every individual is a new canvas.

My most notable experiences as a makeup artist include the Women's Sports Foundation 2021, 2022, and 2024, working with clients including; Terry and Bindi Irwin, Australian zookeepers, Tieghan Gerard, Half Baked Harvest cookbook author and the covershoot for off-Broadway play, All Nighter. I have also assisted a range of celebrity makeup artists including Taylor Fitzgerald, Tim Mackay, Jodie Boland, and Megan Lanoux.
